✨ Why Nuala’s Work Feels Different

Nuala understands what it’s like to feel stretched, overwhelmed, and a little disconnected from yourself. After experiencing her own period of burnout, she was drawn back to the simple, powerful practices that help us feel steady again—breath, movement, nature, and space to just be.

That experience now shapes everything she offers at Cavan Lakeside Wellbeing.

Supported by years of training in mindfulness, behavioural approaches, and holistic wellbeing, her work is both grounded and deeply human. Nuala creates retreats that go beyond relaxation. They offer a chance to properly pause, reset, and reconnect at your own pace, in a way that feels real and lasting.

There’s no pressure to change everything overnight. Just space, support, and the right environment for something to shift.

✨ My Journey to Now

From my early 20s, I was drawn to health, wellbeing, and something deeper I couldn’t quite name. Like many, I spent years looking outward—trying to find balance, clarity, and a sense of “enough” in a busy, fast-moving world.

That changed in 2016, after a life-altering experience that stopped me in my tracks. It wasn’t dramatic from the outside but internally, everything shifted. I began to slow down, tune in, and reconnect with the simple things that truly support us—breath, body, nature, and space to just be.

That experience now shapes everything I offer.

🔹 What I Do

At Cavan Lakeside Wellbeing, my work is about creating spaces where people can step out of the noise and reconnect, gently and naturally.

Through yoga, forest therapy, reiki, sound, and guided reflection, I bring together grounded practices that support real rest, clarity, and a deeper sense of balance. There’s no pressure to be a certain way or to “fix” anything. Just space to breathe, move, and feel more like yourself again.

🔹 How I Help

People often arrive feeling tired, stretched, or a little disconnected, and leave feeling lighter, clearer, and more at ease in themselves.

It’s not about big, dramatic change.
It’s about small, meaningful shifts that ripple into everyday life.

There’s often a quiet sense of coming back home to yourself without needing to force it or figure it all out.

🔹 My Philosophy

I believe we don’t need to search endlessly for answers. We need space to hear ourselves again.

Nature is a powerful teacher in that.
When we slow down enough to listen, things begin to settle, and what matters becomes clearer.

My role is simply to guide, hold space, and offer tools that help you reconnect in a way that feels natural, steady, and real.

🌍 Wellbeing with Meaning

At Cavan Lakeside Wellbeing, this work goes beyond a class or a retreat. It’s about creating space for people to reconnect, reflect, and live with a greater sense of ease and awareness.

Through simple, grounded practices and time spent in nature, we support people in slowing down, gaining clarity, and making small but meaningful shifts in how they live, work, and relate to themselves and others.

When we feel more balanced within ourselves, it naturally ripples outward into our relationships, our workplaces, and the wider world around us.

✨ What We Value

  • Connection — to self, to others, and to the natural world

  • Simplicity — keeping wellbeing accessible, honest, and real

  • Humility — always learning, always evolving

  • Care — for people, place, and the environment we’re part of

đź’š Giving Back

Caring for wellbeing also means caring for the world around us. Each year, 10% of retreat and programme income is donated to the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), supporting the protection and restoration of our natural environment.

At the heart of it all is a simple idea: we’re not separate from each other, or from nature.

“It’s not about me. It’s not even about you. It’s about all of us....and our interconnectedness.”

– Nuala
